Godolphin's First Mission was an exciting winner of the Lexington at Keeneland on Saturday.

He hasn't got enough points to make it in to the Derby field so will probably go to the Preakness as will the second home Arabian Lion.

Disarm, who wasn't particularly impressive got 6 points for the third place and makes it into the Derby field and looks like connections are planning for just that.

The Jenny Wiley saw a very confident win by In Italian who came off the better in a duel with With The Moonlight, who didn't get the smoothest of trips and at times looked as if she would prefer to be somewhere else.  She may feel more at home next time out.  White Frost was third.

Over at Oaklawn Clairiere got the better of Secret Oath in their "mano a mano" although there were two other runners in the race.  Seeing "Secret Oath" describer as the unplaced favourite when he was second by a neck seems a bit ridiculous.
