This talented sprinter won the Nurturing Talent Class 2 at Sha Tin on Saturday.

He was favourite and performed accordingly in the hands of Zac Purton who was finishing off a treble, but was challenged by Howdeepisyourlove who transferred to the Sha Tin track in great style and no doubt will be featuring in many more races at Sha Tin rather than the Valley.  Oriental Smoke was third.

What can you do with Nervous Witness (except possibly change his name?)  He was taken out early to the track to avoid getting too warm but still managed to get into a bit of a state before the start and then, after being slow out of the gates when his only chance would have been to lead, he was difficult to settle and of course now will not be going to the Sprint on Champions Day.  Cue Monty Roberts or another top horse whisperer!
