The site work has finished and racing in Kyoto is actually in Kyoto from this weekend.

Sunday saw the running of the Yomiuri Milers' Cup G2 with a win for the favourite Schnell Meister. Gaia Force put in a good run for second and has moved up a couple of pages in the little black book, with Soul Rush taking third.

In Tokyo it was the Flora Stakes for the 3yo fillies over 2000m and G2. The win went to Gold Ship's daughter Golden Hind on 6.6. So Dazzling the favourite finished second and Brith Jewelry, a daughter of Epiphanea took third ahead of England Eyes.

On Saturday at Fukushima the G3 Himba over 1800m for f&m provided a thrilling finish when Stellaria 13.8 won by a nose from Big Ribbon and Kurino Premium was only a head away third.
