Tenno Sho (Spring) 2023 result

3 minute read

And a sort of shock result as the favourite and last year's winner Titleholder was pulled up.

He appears to be lame in the right fore but hard to get details.  African Gold was also pulled up due to "atrial fibrulation" or what we would describe as an uneven heart beat.

This left the field clear for Justin Palace to come through and claim the victory under Christophe Lemaire with last year's second Deep Bond the bridesmaid again and third went to Silver Sonic with Damian Lane riding.

Less problematic was Saturday's Aoba Sho G2 which went to the exciting son of Kitasan Black Skilfing providing Lemaire with the first leg of a top race double over the weekend.  Heart's Concerto was second and third Kizuna's son Timur on 144.0.
