Another very good run for the Caspar Fownes trained Straight Arron in the Queen Mother Memorial Cup G3 at Sha Tin Sunday.

Sword Point who was also fancied ran second and National Storm third.  This was part of a 4-timer for jockey Vincent Ho who is having a stellar season.

The track was soft which wasn't the best surface for Russian Emperor who was 6th but Whyte needed to get the run into him and as Caspar Fownes stated during the week there needs to be more distance races in the program.

Earlier it was a walk in the park for Golden Express in the Chiu Chow CoC Class 2 as he won easily from Winning Dreamer and Nervous Witness third.
