This is over the Melbourne Cup distance of 3,200m and is G2.

Current favourite is Aff Un Za, a horse owned by Holger Renz, whose Tünnes ran in the Japan Cup in 2022.  He always has intriguing names for his horses and we will be trying to find out what this one is about.  Today he's trained by Markus Klug and will be ridden by Andrasch Starke, and they are on 7/4.

Nachtrase on 9/4 is with Peter Schiergen and will be ridden by Rene Pietcheluk, and we will add Nastaria trained by Frau Schieusner-Fruhriep and the jockey is Miguel Lopez and they are on 9/2.

The ground is described as good.
