He won the G2 Keio Hai Spring Cup over 1400m.

Starting at 5.8 he won by ½ length to Win Marvel 9/1 and Daddy's Vivid also 9/1 was third.

Danon Scorpion was the unplaced favourite.

We need to go back to Geography 101 as of course the Victoria Mile was run at Fuchu which is Tokyo, not Kyoto.  It was damp there but that didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the Sodashi fans who were out in number, and their darling nearly did it – she had a great battle with Songline down the straight with Songline just prevailing at the end by officially a head although to the naked eye it looked more like a nostril.  Stars on Earth was third so it will be interesting to see which of these head now to the Yasuda Kinen in 3 weeks time.  Songline won it last year so we imagine the connections would be very keen to try for the double.
