The Foxes, trained by Andrew Balding and ridden by Oisin Murphy, won the Dante much to the delight of his ownership group King Power Racing who now have a live contender for the Derby.  The Foxes is by Churchill and went off at 6/1.

White Birch at 9/1 was second and there was a dead-heat for third between the Stoute runner Passenger and Continuous by the crack Japanese stallion Heart's Cry.  He's with Aidan O'Brien and was ridden by Ryan Moore.

Earlier Free Wind had no problems in winning the Middleton with two roughies in the minor placings – Rogue Millenium who was on 20/1 and Poptronic on 25/1.

Tonight sees our darling Broome running in the Yorkshire Cup.  He's tied for 5/2 favouritism with Quickthorn (Morrison-Murphy) and Godolphin's Siskany (Appleton-Buick).
