And despite the efforts of second-home Chindit who tried to bite him when he overtook Chindit.  A bit of William Buick's hand may have encountered some Chindit teeth but fortunately horses and jockeys were OK.

Chindit started on 22/1 and connections are thinking of bringing him to Australia for the Spring Carnival races.  He'll need to mend his manners if that is the case!!!!  Third home was Berkshire Shadow (Balding-Murphy) and fourth My Prospero.

Modern Times has been a model of consistency for Godolphin and it was merely a matter of time before he got his G1 on home soil.  Ascot awaits.
