Lucky Sweynesse is one of those horses who when asked to step up does so.

Sunday's win in the Sha Tin Vase was his 8th win for the season and equaled the record and he may have a chance to break it.

With Zac Purton on board the Manfred Man trained gelding finished 1 ¼ lengths ahead of Victor the Winner who was chased home by Cordyceps Six. 

This season Lucky Sweynesse has won 8 of his 10 starts and in his career has 13 wins, two second and a third from 17 starts.  Give the horse a box of carrots!
