Paris, Cologne and Milan.

3 minute read

If you are in any of these cities you can catch some good races.

Starting with Paris which means Longchamp which hosts two G3s the Prix Paul de Moussac over 1400m for the 3yos and La Coupe Fondation Claude Pompidou over 2000m

The Moussac has Breizh Sky on 5/2 with the son of Pedro The Great desperately seeking a win. A&G Botti trains and Guyon rides.  Valimi, the Aga Khan's son of Teofilo, is on 4/1 for Rouget-Demuro and we liked the look of Cawdor on 10/1 for Francis Graffard and Alexis Pouchis.

The Pompidou has 8 starters headed by the Crisfords' raider West Wind Blows on 2/1 with Soumillon riding.  Monty from Andreas Schütz's in-form stable is 4/1 with Mosse riding and Godolphin's Life In Motion is trained by Andre Fabre and will have Murzabayev on board – they are 5/1.

In Cologne it's the 188th running of the Union Rennen for 3yo and is G2.  Mr Hollywood is on 2/1 for Grewe-Delozer – he's won both his starts and is by Iquitos.  Napolitana is by Australia and is on 7/2 for Schiergen-Vogt and Vintage Moon, by Sea The Moon is on 9/2 for Marcel Weiss and Sean Byrne.

San Siro in Milano is the setting for the Oaks d'Italia, a 2200m contest .  We don't have a market for this one but the horses that seem likely include Sharasana, a Gleneagles filly who is unbeaten in 4 starts and will have Hollie Doyle riding for S. Botti.  View Zabeel seems to have nothing to do with Zabeel as she's by Saxon Warrior and in the yard of Andreas Wöhler with Pedroza riding, and Calmly, a daughter of Dubawi who is with Jerome Reynier and will be ridden by Alessio Satta.
