Trained by Christopher Head and given a great ride by Aurélien Lemaitre, she outran her rivals to win by 4 lengths in a rare treble of the Boussac, the Pouliches and now the Diane.

Second home was the Dubawi filly Never Ending Story 16/1 for Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore who held off our roughie Tasmania 43/1 with Tom Marquand riding for Francis Graffard by a very short head – she's by Tasmania out of a German mare.  Our other roughie Elusive Princess was 5th.  Something went wrong with Running Lion as she was eased up at the end of the race.

In the G3 races the Prix du Bois went to the favourite Ramamutuelle who was the start of a nice double for Head-Lemaitre.  Zarken was second and Les Pavots third.  The Prix du Lys went to a roughie Rubis Vendome 20/1 for Mario Baratti and Oisin Murphy with Silawi second and Maniatic third.  The Bertrand du Breuil was an easy win for Tribalist.  Topgear was second and third has an unusual origin as he was bred in Morocco -Russipant Fal.
