All eyes are focusing on Ireland this weekend.

There are 3 Group races on Saturday at the Curragh and two on Sunday where we will be able to see if August Rodin can get the Derby Double.

Starting with Saturday the first is the Airlie Stud Stakes for 2yo fillies over 1200m and 8 will run.  Matrinka, the O'Brien filly by No Nay Never, will be partnered by Ryan Moore and they are 4/9 on the strength of her run at Ascot in the Albany where she was just beaten by Porta Fortuna.  She's had two runs and travelled all of which helps and she has beaten her closest rival Grand Job in a previous start.  Grand Job is a Justify filly with Joseph O'Brien and she is 9/2.  Gunzburg 11/1 is by Sioux Nation and is with Peter Twomey and will be ridden by W Lee.

The Pretty Polly Stakes is G1 for f&m with 9 to run the 2000m trip.  Via Sistina won the G2 Dahlia Stakes on her first run this prep and comes in on 2/1 for Boughey-Spencer.  Above The Curve is with Joseph and Ryan Moore has taken the ride.  He won the Prix Corrida in France at his last outing and 5/2 looks tempting.  Never Ending Story is 4/1 for Aidan with Wayne Lordan on board.

The Paddy Power International is G3 over 2000m and there are just 5 competing with Al Riffa 4/5 for Joseph-McGonagle.  That to us is a bit skinny for a horse resuming in a 2000m race so we prefer Aidan's Alfred Munnings 10/3 with Ryan Moore on board.

Sunday's program starts with the Railway Stakes but we haven't got prices for that as yet but we have for the Derby where August Rodin is on 1/3 to get the Derby Double of the English and Irish Derbies and give Aidan his 100th Classic Winner!

Sprewell, Jessica Harrington's Churchill colt who ran third in the English Derby is on 4/1 as is White Birch, a Ulysses colt who is with Joseph who ran a good 4th in that race.

Our roughie at the moment is Adelaide River on 25/1.
