The Fozzy Stack trained Aspen Grove defied her odds of 16/1 to win this with Oisin Murphy doing the steering.

Aspen Grove had shown talent before this but also had run a few indifferent races so it was a bit of a surprise win.  She defeated Chad Brown's Prerequisite under Irad Ortiz and Papillo Casse-Castellano.  The winner will probably stay in the US and look either to Del Mar of Saratoga for other Oaks opportunities.

The Derby saw Pletcher's Far Bridge out-fox The Foxes with a roughie Mondego 42/1 in the third spot.  Webslinger was fourth.
