First off is the Bahrain Trophy G3 for 3yos over 2600m with 6 runners.  Aidan O'Brien has been waxing lyrical about Tower of London and who are we to argue with the maestro?  Ryan Moore is aboard and they are on 11/8.  Maybe Castle Way for the quinella at 9/2 for Godolphin Appleby-Buick.

The July Stakes is G2 for 2yos over 1200m with 9 starters.  Purosangue is on top on 9/4 following an impressive win at Haydock.  Andrew Balding has Ray Dawson riding the son of Acclaim.  We liked the run of Malc in the Norfolk at Ascot where he ran second but showed promise – he's by Calyx and Fahey has Oisin Orr riding.  Lake Forest could also be interesting as he won on debut at Haydock – by No Nay Never and Tom Marquand will ride for William Haggas.

The Princess of Wales's Stakes is G2 over 2400m and only has four starters, headed by the odds-on Adayer who probably only has to stay upright to win.  Not a betting race as Adayer is 2/5.  If you are desperate and want a quinella you could add the stablemate Global Storm at 9/1 with James Doyle in the irons.

There may be the odd shower or two but otherwise OK with a top of 19 - more typically English summer weather!
