Feed The Flame wins Grand Prix de Paris

3 minute read

Pascal Bary's Kingman colt justified the supplementing.

It was a stunning win as he came from the back of the field which doesn't often happen in the Longchamp straight to win the G1 contest with Cristian Demuro substituting for the "holidaying" Christophe Soumillon.  Adelaide River was second and favourite (in the UK) UK Oaks winner Soul Sister had to settle for third.  She may keep to the female fields in the near future.

Earlier Rue Boissonade 9/1 won the G2 Prix Malleret for Mikael Delzangles and Gerard Mosse.  They defeated favourite Crack of Light with Yorokobi the third of the five fillies.

The Prix Nieuil G2 saw Stephan Wattel's The Good Man being a good man inn defeating River of Stars and favourite Sober third and Skazino fourth in a 7 horse field.

Feed The Flame is now heading towards the Arc to the delight of his connections and was the seventh French trained horse to win the seven G1 races for this season.
