Firstly the two races of note on closing day.

The Hong Kong Racehorse Owners Association Trophy was the first of these, Class 1 over 1600m where Encountered on 4.3 won for Manfred Man and Keith Leung.  Man has been having a good season and ended it on a high with this win.  Circuit Stellar was next home and then Tuchel.  Flaming Rabbit was fourth which may not be good enough to save him from "surgery".

The Joy And Fun Handicap was Class 2  over 1200m and here John Size saddled the quinella with Golden Express winning under Zac Purton, a fitting end of season to the two champs.  Size's Bundle of Charm on 15.0 under Karis Teetan made it a good quinella.  Packing Treadmill was the third home on 8.7.
