The 2yo is the O'Brien City of Troy who won the Superlative Stakes in superlative fashion storming up the hill to win by 6 ½ lengths.  He's by Justify and had won his maiden by 2 ½ lengths so he is now a short priced favourite for next years Guineas.  Hattam ran second and third went to Oddyssey 33/1.

The July Cup saw the other exciting runner Shaquille win his 6th consecutive in the July Cup by 1 ½ lengths from Run To Freedom 28/1 and third home was Kinross who got pushed out of the favourite spot by post time in favour of the winner.
