It wasn't a clear cut win and he had to survive a Stewards' enquiry.

But Forte won the Jim Dandy after a great duel with Saudi Crown.  Forte's jockey had to thread the needle to get clear and off the rail in the straight but kept being blocked so he didn't really get clear running. The track was described as "muddy" which is the most polite term you could use.  Saudi Crown seems a nice horse.

The Vanderbilt was a piece of cake for Elite Power who ran like an odds-on shot should and was not troubled by the second horse, Gunite.

At Del Mar Defunded continues to defund me finishing fourth with the win going to The Chosen Vron with Anarchist second and Dr Schivel third.
