He's fancied now for 2000 Guineas after winning the Phoenix.

This was at the Curragh on Saturday although there were only 7 runners in the 1200m G1.

He finished 4 lengths in front of our tip Porta Fortuna who was having her first outing against the boys but she too looks like having a promising future.

Third place went to Givemethebeatboys 10/1 from Jessica Harrington's yard with Shane Foley riding.

The G3 Phoenix Sprint was won by Moss Tucker 8/1 Condon-Lee by 2 ¼ lengths from Go Athletico and third of the 11 runners was Ano Syra 14/1.  Commanche Falls was fourth.
