Saturday sees the running of two Group races for the babies.

The first is the Coolmore Stud Wooton Basset Irish Futurity over 1400m. but only 5 in it and of course Henry Longfellow is an odds-on favourite following his good win on debut.  If you need one for the quinella try Spanish Flame on 5/1.

The fillies have their turn in the Alpha Centauri for which there are at least 8 runners.  Pearls and Rubies was a beaten favourite last time but everyone seems to want to give her a second chance so she is favourite here at 5/2.  Snellen is one who could fill a place and we have a very rough roughie in Kalispera 25/1 – they're 2yos after all and anything can happen!
