Henry Longfellow takes next step up

That was done in the Coolmore Stud Wooton Basset, although in Henry Longfelllow's case his sire was Dubawi, not Wooton B.  He won by 2 lengths from Islandsinthestream but since there were only 5 horses in the race seemed more like a trial than a Group race.

The Alpha Centauri went to Vespertilio on 4/1 from Sakti on 8/1 and -cue drum roll – our roughie Kalispera third and she went off at 80/1!!

Sunday the St Leger trial G3 over 2800m went to Shamida 5/4 and only four runners in the race so one just for the record.
