The last classic of 2023 and last classic for Frankie Dettori.

He has opted to ride Arrest of the Gosdens two runners with Kevin Shoemark being booked for the ride on Gregory.  Arrest, by Frankel and Gregory, by Golden Horn are both on 4/1.

Favourite is Continuous for O'Brien-Moore with 11/4 available for the son of Heart's Cry.  He recently won the Great Voltigeur which is the top trial for this.

Desert Hero is owned by The King and Queen and is by Sea The Stars and was bred by the late Queen.  William Haggas trains and Tom Marquand rides and they are on 5/1.  The last royal winner was Dunfermaline in the 1970s.

Earlier on there's only 5 starters in the G2 champagne Stakes over 1400m for 2yo c&g.  In such a small field no surprise that Rosallion is 4/11 for Hannon-Levey.  Next best probably Iberian 4/1 for Charlie Hills and Tom Marquand.

The Park Stakes G2 is also over 1400m and also a small field – 6 this time – meaning Spycatcher is on top on 11/8 since he just missed out on the G1 Maurice de Gheest in France recently.  We think Audience is good value at 5/1 with Robert Havlin riding for the Gosdens.
