There are Group 1 races every weekend now until the Japan Cup at the end of November.

Starting these off is the Sprinters' Stakes at Nakayama over 1200m.  The horses in single figures in the Morning Line all have good chances so we will give them in the order they appear.  First up is Namura Clair on 3.6.  She's a 4yo and will have regular jockey Hamanaka on board.  Recently won the Keeneland Cup in Sapporo on WASJ day. 

Aguri is a 4yo boy who is always in the finish and may be out pick of these – regular jockey N. Yokoyama has the ride and they are on 5.6.

Mama Cocha is a 4yo and she will be partnered by Kawada for the first tine – they are on 6.4.

And Meikei Yell is a 5yo mare who is either winning or nowhere near so you have to hope she is having a good day.  Ikezoe has the ride and they are on 9.3.

The race will be broadcast at 5.40pm AEDT (15.40 Japan Time).
