Keeneland's popular Fall Meeting gets underway Friday 6th with 3 graded stakes races.

The first of these is the Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix Stakes Gr 2 over 1200m.  Bango has had a great run at Churchill Downs so now has to try and repeat that here .  He's on 5/2 for Greg Foley and Gaffalione.  Doctor Oscar is on 7/2 for T. Padilla and A. Quinonez and Nakatori could be a bit of a threat here on 4/1 with I Ortiz riding for Wesley Ward.

The Jessamine is Gr 2 for 2yo fillies over 1700m turf.  Time to Dazzle is on 5/2 – she's by Not This Time with Saez riding for Casse.  Smooth Waves could cause ripples especially as she's by English Channel and is on 7/2 for Maker-Gaffalione and Buchu who is by Justify is on 4/1 for Bauer-Garcia.

The Alcibiades is Gr 1 over 1700m for 2yo fillies with 9 runners headed by Brightwork, by Outwork, for John Ortiz and Irad Ortiz, on 9/5.  V V's Dream is by Mitole and on 5/2 for McPeek – B Hernandez and Emery is a dual acceptor with a race at Belmont on Saturday but should she run here she's on 4/1 for Cox-Gaffalione.

Saturday's big races start with the Woodford Gr 2 over 1100m turf with 12 runners.  Live in the Dream is the raider here after beating Highfield Princess at York and is on 3/1 for Adam West and Sean Kirrane.  Beer Can Man is on 4/1 for d'Amato-Prat and Our Shot 9/2 for Terranova-Gaffalione.

The Thoroughbred Club of America Gr 2 1200m for f&m has y starters and it looks like being between Wicked Halo on 5/2 for Asmussen-Gaffalione ad Static Fire 7.2 for B Lynch and C Torres.

The First Lady is Gr 1 over 1600m turf with 8 f&m running.  In Italian has been very consistent and is on 4/5 here for Brown-Rosario with the stablemate Whitebeam on 3/1 with Prat the jockey.  Joseph O'Brien is sending Jumbly to this and he's on 6/1 with John Velazquez booked for the ride.

The Claiborne Breeders' Futurity is Gr 1 over 1700m for 2yos with 9 to run.  Locked, by Gun Runner, is on 7/5 for Pletcher – J L Ortiz, Timberlake by Into Mischief is on 7/2 and Awesome Road by Quality Road is on 3/1.

Sunday's card includes the Spinster Stakes Gr 1 is over 1800m for f&m and there are seven runners and it looks like being between Idiomatic on 7/5 for Cox-Geroux and 6/5 for Nest - Pletcher- I Ortiz.

The Bourbon Gr 2 is over 1700m turf for the 2yos with a full field of 12 plus 3 emergencies.  Noted, on 3/1 is top of the mark for Pletcher and I Ortiz with Palm Tree 9.2 for Walsh-Cannon and 6/1 First World War could be a third pick in what is quite an open race.
