So there are 2 G2 races – one on Sunday and one on Monday.

Sunday we are in Tokyo for the running of the Mainichi Oken over 1800.  It looks between Songline on 2.3 with Tosaki riding and Schnell Meister on 2.9 with Lemaire the pilot – we are leaning towards the latter here.

Monday it's down to Kyoto for the Kyoto Daishoten, a good prep for the Japan Cup as it is over 2400m.  This edition is very open and the following prices may well change overnight so at present we have Heat On Beat on 4.1 with Kawada on board, Deep Bond 4.3 with Wada riding and 4.5 for Blow the Horn with Sugawara riding.  We may go for a bit of a roughie here in Boccherini on 10.4 with Hamanaka in the irons.
