Starting favourite Sacamiro in the hands of Jan Faltajsek was always in a handy position.

He drew away at the end with a strong finishing burst to finish 5 lengths ahead of Talent 13/2 and then Star 15/1 third.  What other race can provide finishing distances of 5 lengths, 1 length, 9 lengths, ¾ length and then dist-dist for the 8 finishers with the remaining 1o runners split between F (4), PU (1) and UR (5).

James Best came fourth on Lombargini and Jet Fighter for Peter Maher-Sean O'Keefe at least finished although somewhat away from the winner.  Alpha Male and Mr Spex fell – possibly at Taxis where there was the usual carnage.

The weather was beautiful and the tracks is likewise unless you are trying to navigate a horse around it!
