There were two G1 Criteriums run on Sunday.

Open to both colts and fillies, the first was over 2000m and the second 1600 and both had fields of 7.

The "other" O'Brien won here in the form of Los Angeles who started on 7/1 and was ridden by Soumillon and his stablemate and favourite Illinois was third home, with Islandsinthestream second home.  We wonder how many times the first three in a race have been trained by the same family.

The second Criterium went to Sunway on 4/1 to the delight of connections with Alcantor second.
