This is over 2000m for the 2yos and is a prep for the classics to come.

Shin Emperor is by Siyouni and a full brother to Sottsass which immediately endears him to us as we had been great fans of Sottsass the designer.  He's unbeaten and Yahagi-sensei is putting Murzabayev on him.  Currently 3.6 on the Morning Line.

Gonbade Qabus is also unbeaten and by the American sire Bricks and Mortar.  Matsuyama keeps the ride and they are on 4.7.

Two others to watch out for are the filly Regaleira who gets the benefit both of the fillies' allowance and Christophe Lemaire on board.  She's by Suave Richard and on 5.3.  And Century Bond who will have no trouble with the trip as that he has been racing over.  Yutaka Take hasn't won this G1 (it's only recently been promoted to that level) so he will be keen to guide the son of Kizuna through his work.
