The Carnival is heating up with the running of this G2 for the girls over 1600m.

It's also a chance to see Godolphin's English Rose in action. She's won both her races to date and the stable are very enthusiastic about her and Buick has chosen her from the three Appleby-trained entrants.

Mystic Pearl from William Haggas and Tom Marquand came 3rd in a G3 in France at the end of last season and seems to be promising.  She's on 7/2 and Silver Lady, one of the other Appleby runners with Mickael Barzalona on board is on 13/2.  8 run.
