Ascot UK and the Ascot Chase

3 minute read

That and the Reynoldstown are the features.

Very sad to see such small fields – 5 in the Reynoldstown which is a Novices' Chase and nly four in the Ascot chase.  It's not raining and the going is goo to soft which should be ideal for jumping.

The market for the Reynoldstown has Apple Away on 3/2 for Lucinda Russell and Derek Fox but we are leaning more to Brave Kingdom on 3/1 for Nicholls-Cobden.

The Ascot Chase has all the pointers heading to L'homme Presse 2/3 for Venetia Williams and Charles Deutsche but we don't like odds-on in jumps (unless its Constitution Hill) so we will go for Pic d'Orhy 9/4 Nicholls-Cobden.
