The main feature of this Friday's card is the Lord Glitters Handicap.
It's over 1800m on the turf and has a field of 14 runners. As usual Godolphin-Appleby is strongly represented with their main runner being First Sight on 13/8 with William Buick on board. Ouzo from the Ocborne family Jamie training and Saffie riding is a worthy challenger and his 7/2 looks fair. Appleby also saddles two of the three horses on 13/2 – Highbank and Imperial Emperor with the third of these being Laser Guided for the Crisfords.
Earlier the 1400m Handicap on the turf has 11 runners and a Godolphin-bin Suroor has the favourite here in Olympic Candle on 9/4 with Richard Mullen riding. Michael Costa saddles Molaqab and Ben Coen rides and 7/2 looks reasonable. Doug Watson trains Mcmanaman and Pat Dobbs will ride with their quote being 13/2.
