It's an outing for the 3yos today as they continue to prepare for Kentucky.

The Rachel Alexandra is Gr 2 for 3yo fillies with V V's Dream, a daughter of Mitole, on 5/2 for McPeek and Herenandez.  There's only 7 runners here so our second choice is Intricate, by Gun Runner, on 3/1 for Walsh-Gaffalone.  It's over 1700m.

The Risen Star is for the 3yo boys over 1800m and there is a field of 12.  Fairly open, with Touch Phantom on 7/2, a Quality Road colt trained by Steve Asmussen with Joel Rosario riding.  We rather like Sierra Leone on 4/1 for Brown-Gaffaleone and he's by Gun Runner.  Catching Freedom is on 5/1 for Cox-Saez and he's by Constitution.
