We were hopeful Rachel King could bring home another group winner but alas it was not to be.

The Nakaya Kinen was run in the rain on a track which was officially described as "good" but to our eyes looked a bit on the sloppy side and by the next race was describer as "muddy".  Anyhow Hishi Iguazu didn't seem to like – after all he's named after falling water not running in water.

The win went to Matenro Sky by 2 lengths from Dobune 35.5 an a neck further away was Geoglyph on 10.6 in third place.

Team Japan in Saudi did well bringing home wins in two of the Group races with three seconds.  One of the winners, Forever Young, looks to be heading for Kentucky via Dubai and provided all goes well in Dubai should make it.  He looks to be an exceptional horse.
