On a very muddy Aqueduct and in fairly heavy rain the field in the Gotham fell away.

This left the coast clear for Determenistic to fight to the line against Just a Touch and win with El Grande O third and there may have been some more horses further back but you couldn't really see them.

At Gulfstream Park the Fountain of Youth day saw Starting Over win the Mac Diarmida from Tawny Port and Anglophile third.

The Davona Dale was won by Fiona's Magic at 9/1 from Into Champagne and Lelie's Rose.  Just FYI was scratched.

The Gulfstream Park Mile saw a thrilling finish with Tumburrumba and Steal Sunshine going hammer and tongs down the straight with the lead chaning every couple of lengths and in the end it was a head-bobber with Steal Sunshine just getting a nostril in front.

The Fountain of Youth had a lot of scratchings and the last one being Speak Easy who was about to go off favourite and did something at the gates which caused him to be withdrawn from the race.  That left the was clear for Dornoch, a full brother to last year's Kentucky Derby winner Mage, to have a clear run and clean up.  He now goes either to the Florida Derby or the Blue Grass.
