Leopardstown manages to race

3 minute read

After an inspection Saturday morning Leopardstown was cleared to race Sunday.

The going was heavy so results should be seen more as indicative rather than true form, especially with the 3yos with the exception of the winner of the Priory Belle, A Lilac Roile wo looks to be a very promising filly over any type of ground.

Battle Cry won the Red Rocks and Stablemate and half-brother Samuel Colt was second making it a good result for No Nay Never offspring.  My Mate Alfie was third at 20/1.

Kitty Rose ran very well for second in the Priory Belle and made the winner work as there was only a head between them in the end and Buttons ran third.

The Ballysax with 6 runners saw two we didn't pick take the first two spots – Dallas Star 50/1, The Euphrates 7/1 and Illinois from our picks was third.
