Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for March 19.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Kyneton and Mackay.
HAWKESBURY: RACE 2 @ 1:50 PM
HELL OF A SHOW (5) underrated gelding who looks well placed today from the good gate. Fourth-up for this after launching late from the wide gate when an unlucky third over 1100m at this track on March 9. The one to beat on the quick back-up. BROWNED OFF (9) another near his top now fourth-up. Sat on the speed before tiring late when seventh over 1200m at Newcastle on March 8. Quick back-up suits and looks good each way value. DREAMS OF THUNDER (7) resuming from a four-and-a-half month break. Ran two okay races in two career runs last time in. Expected to have strengthened up over the break and ran third in a recent 845m trial on March 4. IVY'S WAY (6) fitter after two runs and looking for the 1100m now. Well drawn and should be able to hold a forward position here.
SELECTIONS: Hell Of A Show to win.

KYNETON: RACE 5 @ 3:30 PM
HELLISH (4) resumes here and boasts some strong form lines from last time in, beaten at short odds first-up last time in at Bendigo behind two smart types. Although he was beaten at odds-on each run last time in he only has to run somewhere near that form to be winning this. YOUR SHOUT GINGIE (11) is going well, not far away when well supported at Stawell last time out over 1307m. Won't need to improve much to be winning this. MEGHAN (8) has run second in her past two efforts, the latest at this track. She maps to land on speed again which will suit. LUNAR FROST (7) can mix her form but isn't without each-way claims. CAPITAL LOVER (3) next best.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Hellish.
MACKAY: RACE 4 @ 2:55 PM
FULMEN (3) was ridden quieter second-up when easily winning a Rockhampton Maiden. He maps for the run of the race and can go on with it now. It's hard to risk the lethal Stanley-Taylor linkage. WELL RESTED (10) was a comfortable Maiden winner and just missed a place here following in a 55. Peaks and has plenty of weight relief today. Using an inside gate she can make the finish. SHEEZALITTLETORQUE (9) peaks and go on the close-up effort at Rockhamption two back. She gives every impression the longer sprint will suit. OSCAR BRAVO (2) is an ex-Victorian third-up for the new yard. Has plenty up the sleeve and Wiggins is a positive jockey booking. Looking for a much better effort today.
SELECTIONS: With Fulmen.
