Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Albury, Scone, Horsham, Townsville, Mt Gambier, Darwin, Cranbourne, Launceston.

ALBURY: RACE 7 @ 4:55 PM

MIRACLE SPIN (6) is at his top now after catching the eye late when a solid third over 2000m at Randwick on March 2. Will get the conditions to suit today and can swoop over the top of these on the limit weight. FAWKNER PARK (3) has needed the two runs back and getting up to his optimum trip today. Strong through the line late when fourth over 1800m at Flemington on March 9. Anywhere near his best would win this. BLACKCOMB (7) fitter now and looking for this trip after finishing a close-up 11th in the G3 Aspiration over 1600m at Randwick on March 9. Can sit midfield from the good draw and charge late. Group 1 placegetter REGAL LION (4) showed enough first-up when fifth in the LR Canberra Cup over this trip on March 10. Has an exceptional second-up record and sharp improvement expected.
SELECTIONS: Miracle Spin to win.

SCONE: RACE 2 @ 1:30 PM

DUNALOCE (7) won the Newcastle Maiden and then just missed there over 1880m in this grade. Uses the inside gate and will be tough to beat. EVER WAS (2) was beaten 9.4L behind Wymark at Newcastle but covered the others and had been threatening prior. Easier and expect him to go well. SILENT RUSSIAN (4) was good at Wyong following the switch from a Sydney yard and then found Dancing With Hooves much too good at Tamworth starting as a $3 favourite. Races forward and should run out the extra metres. Gets another chance. LADYKING (12) and JUST IMMORTAL (11) are both Sydney-trained improvers who must be kept onside.
SELECTIONS: Backing Dunaloce.

HORSHAM: RACE 2 @ 1:40 PM

GAMADALE INDI (8) has battled on well enough in a couple of starts to date and has seemingly struck the right field third up. The key here is John Allen taking the ride and she is expected to be thereabouts at the business end of proceedings. MOUNT MUMUKAI (6) did not do much on debut at Warrnambool when finishing eighth and was immediately put aside to mature. His jumpout form leading into this has been good and with the blinkers on from a perfect inside draw, he can make a winning return. SERENDIP (11) was not far off getting the job done last time out and looks to be putting it all together now. She will be at her peak fitness third up and can go one better here. DARK SKIES (5) unraced gelding by Duporth out of Frizetto. Not seen in a public trial to date. Watch for any market moves.
SELECTIONS: Gamadale Indi on top.

TOWNSVILLE: RACE 5 @ 3:23 PM

MISS SEATTLE (5) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and fought on for second, beaten 0.7 lengths at this track and trip. Likely improver and is drawn for a soft run. Has strong prospects. MYSTERY 'N' MAGIC (6) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work, working home in good style at the most recent outing for third at this course and distance. Nearing peak fitness now. Good chance to break through. HE'S XCEPTIONAL (2) scored a win in this grade two back at this track and trip so can measure up with his A-game. RED LIGHT ROXANNE (4) worked home when resuming from a spell over 1250m at Cairns, beaten 2 lengths. Fitter and draws lower so can run well.
SELECTIONS: Miss Seattle to go one better second up.

MT GAMBIER: RACE 6 @ 4:00 PM

ADANDIMAN (4) should find this a fair bit easier as he crosses the border. Comes through some strong form races and gets significant weight off his back. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. BOLD BOURBON (1) returns over a winning trip and has scored fresh before. Closed last campaign on the right note when scoring at Warrnambool. Can pick up right where he left off. WILD WILLY (3) is ticking along nicely of late and remains at a preferred trip. Gets in lighter at the weights and has Opperman sticking. Only has to hold his form to be competitive. MONTJEUIFY (5) looked close to notching up another win but just struggled slightly last time at Sandown-Hillside. Blinkers going on for the first time should have him more focused. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Adandiman.

DARWIN: RACE 3 @ 4:16 PM

FORMS OF FEAR (2) made a winning local debut after showing some promise at provincial level when trained in NSW. He is 3 weeks between runs and can make it 2 wins on the bounce here from a handy gate. SOUL SPIRIT (3) is a very handy performer on her day and has drawn in the pole position for her return. She normally comes to hand quickly and is right up to taking this out fresh up. POCKET PISTOL (1) is another consistent performer at this level resuming and this fellow usually takes a run before hitting his straps. The small field will suit him and he can make his presence felt, regardless of whether he needs the hit-out or not. BAT PAD (4) is taking her time to come up this prep but does do well on a quick backup. She has a good record here over the trip and cannot be ruled out. PATRIOTIC KING (5) needed his fresh-up run badly and will improve quickly as his record suggests second up. The Clarke/Todd combination says a lot and they can't be ignored in this. Watch the markets.
SELECTIONS: Forms Of Fear to win.

CRANBOURNE: RACE 3 @ 7:15 PM

CHILL THE KRUG (7) ran well first up at Sandown-Hillside over 1300m, finishing 4th and not beaten far. Better suited with that run under the belt and out to 1400m, drawing ideally in barrier 3. Top chance. QUEEN OF TUSCANY (6) broke through for a solid win at Pakenham off the back of consistent placings form. She's up in grade here but this isn't a very strong Bm64 and she should go close. THE REAL THING (2) can mix his form, well supported last time but finishing last at Sandown-Lakeside over 1600m. Back in trip suits better. FANG IT (3) was good at Bendigo last time out over 1500m. He's open to further improvement and this looks suitable. LADY SHALAA (4) could measure up.
SELECTIONS: Chill The Krug to win.

LAUNCESTON: RACE 8 @ 9:30 PM

STONE COLD STUNNER (2) won back-to-back here and then tackled the G3 Vamos Stakes over this distance when beaten just 2.4L. That reads well for this contest and she has a handy 2kg claim and can use the low gate. CABACA (3) comes out of the same race and didn't finish it off. She wasn't beaten far in the G3 Mystic Journey Stakes prior and racing at peak fitness is a decent chance. Stablemate VIVILICI (1) is also fourth up and was okay in the Royal Rambo after giving away a start. The 2kg claim is handy and she's also a hope. ZEWINNA (7) has been racing well without winning. This is harder but she will carry a feather with the 3kg claim and should be around the mark.
SELECTIONS: Backing Stone Cold Stunner.
