Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Sale, Canberra, Ascot, Launceston and Kalgoorlie.

SO YOU SEE (6) was a dominant Pakenham winner on debut before not being disgraced at Group level the next two outings. Will find this task much easier and should be at her peak now fourth time at the races. Looks very hard to toss. BROOKLYN BOSS (4) has won two from three starts and is drawn to get a soft run from the inside alley. Looks a genuine threat. THE AMAZONIAN (11) has won over this mile journey and can run a race while fresh. YAPHET (13) best of the rest.

ASCOT: RACE 6 @ 3:58 PM
CRITICAL ALTITUDE (3) faces an easier assignment in this after finishing 2.4L away in fourth last start. Will take full advantage from the low draw and be in this for a long way. Tough to knock. NUHAD (1) has filled the frame in her last two efforts and looks cherry ripe to peak in this. Is up in weight but will have plenty of chance early to to get across and dictate from the wide draw. Key runner. MADAM KISSES (7) good off the mark nicely at the latest when winning by over a length. Carries more weight but looks well placed to win again. SOMETHINGREADY (5) hasn't been far away in her last two, finishing just under a length away in both. Strips fitter again and is a genuine chance.
SELECTIONS: Backing Critical Altitude to win back in grade.
CANBERRA: RACE 7 @ 4:40 PM
DEVILS TRIANGLE (4) delivered the 72 win at Canterbury (7-4F) off near-misses at here and at Randwick. Goes wet and dry and keeps improving for the hot Matt Dale barn. Heywood replaces the apprentice and the mare should get the run of the race over the longer sprint. MISS OSTEND (9) resumed in terrific order beaten 1.5L this grade behind Washington Towers and that form's been franked. She has plenty up the sleeve but lifts 300m and draws the outside gate. Expecting her to manage both and threaten. MR ALOYSIUS (10) is busting to win and has the figures to fight it out. She rides the speed and runs the 1400m right out. EVANORA (11) races handy and Cahill is reunited replacing the apprentice. Has the ability and gets the blinkers applied first time.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 7 @ 4:50 PM
LITTLE SES (4) brought strong form to resumption and was too good this grade. She's further improved and just needs average luck from the rail to go on with it. KAKADU (3) also returned in good order just beaten at better level. Draws for a soft on-pace run and fitter is a player. TOWN HALL (10) ran his best race beaten 1L second-up Has a handy barrier and gets in well with the 3kg claim. He has to be considered. WHIM CREEK (7) also has a 3kg claim and was good enough the latest to fill a slot.

LAUNCESTON: RACE 5 @ 3:50 PM
SHARMA RAMA (4) and YANOSHA (1) were winners at the track and distance on the same program a few weeks ago. Sharma Rama ran quicker time and the claim for EBB means she'll carry 1.5kg less than she did there, though she has barrier 7/7 to overcome. Yanosha is aggressively placed looking to go back-to-back given he's a class 1 up against the likes of ENTRAPPED (2) who jumped $3.70 in 68 grade last Sunday and is the winner of three races. BERRUTI (5) has been scratched on a pair of occasions since his only Tassie start, so the market may provide a lead on whether he needs the run. TERRACOTTA (6) was able to get into a strangely run race last time where a blanket could've been thrown over the first four.
SELECTIONS: Sharma Rama to win.
