Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 29.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Wyong, Sandown Lakeside, Ipswich, Gawler and Geraldton.
WYONG: RACE 1 @ 1:25 PM
UNCLE HARRY (4) has the best form around him and was a cheeky fifth at Group 3 level last time out so is suited with a big class drop. Clearly the one to beat. LASKARINA (8) is fitter now after three runs back from a spell and boxed on well at Kembla in the latest. Definite chance. ICEBREAKER (7) has been around the mark without winning and doesn't need to improve a lot to be in the finish. Worth keeping in mind. SHEMRAN (3) and RAPID IMPACT (2) are last start winners who have claims.
SELECTIONS: Uncle Harry to win.

SANDOWN-LAKESIDE: RACE 4 @ 2:45 PM
TAPA CAPALL (1) might present as some value here. The first up run was disappointing when fading to finish seventh but he was in the market there and will strip much fitter for this. The rise to 1600m suits much better and he wasn't far off some much smarter types last time in. PATRICK (3) presents third up having made nice improvement second up at Ballarat when beaten a nose. Peaks here from an ideal draw and will take beating. IMMODEST (2) is a lightly raced type who scored at his second start, too good at Ararat. Harder here but profiles as a nice improver. ZOUPURRING (4) ran a good race when second at Ballarat last start and the form out of that race has stood up well. Looks suited in this and should be right in the finish. MRS GOSSIP (7) can add some value to exotics with natural improvement off a narrow Mornington maiden win.

SANDOWN-LAKESIDE: RACE 5 @ 3:20 PM
TOMMY (1) struggled in a stronger race at Flemington last start but did win very well at Ballarat prior as a short-priced favourite. Back in grade here, he's a horse with a bit of class and upside which will see him hard to beat in this field. THINK I'M FAMOUS (6) resumed with a tidy win at Pakenham over 1600m before starting a warm favourite and dropping out to finish last, clearly too bad to be true. Trust the market support there, he should bounce back. SPERANZOSO (5) was a dominant Seymour maiden winner when last seen. Gets D Lane on from an ideal draw, he might be able to go on with it now. MY BROTHERS KEEPER (4) next best.

IPSWICH: RACE 8 @ 5:25 PM
EASY COMPANY (8) showed good improvement second up when chasing well for a 1.8L fourth at this track and distance. That was in a C2 so should find this easier. Cherry-ripe now and is well placed to break through. SPILLIFY (11) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third at this track and trip. Building nicely and is favourably drawn. MARTEDI (5) made a solid return when a 2.5L fourth at Doomben. That was his first time out of the top three and he is lightly raced with improvement. VICTORIA ROC (7) has trialled since the resuming effort so can improve. SELECTIONS: Easy Company to deliver third up.
GAWLER: RACE 3 @ 2:30 PM
PROVEN CORRECT (7) brings compelling form to resumption. Just missed in an Open 2 at The Bridge and then was spelled off a try at Listed level. Has trialled sharply here and Holder sticks with him. Placed his only fresh outing and is likely to come back further improved. THIS IS AMERICA (8) debuts for the top barn and has warmed up with two trials. A gun hoop sticks from the latest and the 3yo by Shooting To Win has to be kept very safe. Stablemate TIPSY VIXEN (12) debuted in town and was okay after settling back. Draws the outside gate but no surprise to see her in the finish with the extra fitness/experience. GUMERACHA CRACKER (9) debuts with the blinkers on and was better her latest trial. Worth a look.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Proven Correct.
GERALDTON: RACE 7 @ 5:10 PM
UNDER INFLUENCE (5) peaks and brings compelling form. Went close twice at Northam and Ascot his latest. Gives away a start but is very well placed in this line-up. JUSTHANDY (7) led first-up and wasn't beaten far. She flies second-up and has an inside gate and a handy 3kg claim. She can improve into the quinella. SAUVEGARDE (4) hits this at peak and has had one blip in a string of strong efforts. There was only 1L in it this grade a month ago and she can place with average luck from a wide gate. BERRY BERRY GOOD (9) resumes and has won fresh. Has shown enough in patches to consider.
SELECTIONS: Backing Under Influence to win.
