Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 14.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Caulfield, Kyneton, Albany and Bowen.
KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 5 @ 4:10 PM
Godolphin's EQUIPAGE (9) is a progressive filly who attacked the line with venom last start, just missing out in a three-way go at the end of 1200m at Newcastle. Crying out for 1400m at the third run back from a long spell. Berry takes over so she will be given every chance to grab a well-deserved maiden win. Waller's MARE OF MT BULLER (10) has not raced since closing well for fourth on debut over 1347m at Geelong in June. Bred to want some ground but she could be one to watch for late in the piece. TASTULA (5) disappointed on debut at Newcastle recently so the blinkers go on. Watch for a much sharper performance. TELLEZ (6) didn't run on as hoped first-up over 1200m at Newcastle but might improve out to this trip.
SELECTIONS: Hard to go past Equipage.

KYNETON: RACE 8 @ 5:00 PM
VALENKI (3) appeals building on the 1.3L defeat at Geelong when he led. Draws handy and will be suited around this circuit. Fitter again and is the one to beat. KARATEMISS (8) has been threatening a win and the placed effort at Kilmore two-back reads particularly well. That would see her right in it. TATSURO (7) finally reclaimed his best form winning this grade at Swan Hill. Drops back to a sprint and will come hard late. AMENOPHIS (2) was last seen 215 days ago competing at Listed level In Adelaide over a mile. May need the run but has shown enough to keep very safe. LUNAR LINKS (5) just missed at Ararat and will be fitter. Will be around the mark.
SELECTIONS: Backing Valenki.
BOWEN: RACE 2 @ 1:33 PM
Tricky race to line up with a couple of these babies at the races for the first time. Of the raced brigade I'LLTELLYOUGO (2) hasn't done much wrong with a win and a close-up second from two starts to date and will have derived a bunch of confidence from that last start Home Hill victory. Gets 2kg off with the claim and looks likely to play a prominent role in the finish. SEWN UP (7) has placed two from three over this sprint journey and rates a genuine top-three contender again. SNEAKY FREDDY (3) is on debut and a market watch is advised. Likewise HAND GRENADE (4).
SELECTIONS: I'lltellyougo to win.
