Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Wagga and Cranbourne.

WAGGA: RACE 3 @ 3:05 PM

CREAM RISES (2) made sneaky ground towards the inside when resuming at Canterbury. Easier this time dropping back to the country circuit and is a second-up winner. The one to beat. SIZZLING CAT (4) caught the eye fresh at Albury and then managed to make some late inroads at Wodonga last start without threatening an impressive winner. Comes in on the fresh side and gets a key jockey booking of Danny Beasley. Ready to win third up. PATRIKA GOLD (5) couldn't bring up the hat-trick last start when well below his best. Willing to forgive on prior form. Drawn well and can bounce straight back. CONTROVERSIAL MISS (3) is ticking along nicely this time in and is drawn favourably. No reason she can't find herself in the finish again.
SELECTIONS: Cream Rises will take some beating.

CRANBOURNE: RACE 5 @ 3:30 PM

The well-related SYCAMORE (4) has hit the top five in all six outings so far and looks the galloper in this field with the most upside. Will be at her peak now and looks very hard to run down. AMBERARNA (10) draws low and gets 3kg weight relief with the claim. Shapes as one to consider. RAIN DANCE (3) is another to get some weight off and looks a genuine top-three commodity on best form. GRAND TOURAINE (8) has been right there at the past three efforts and cannot be discounted. ENTITLED PRINCESS (2) boasts a win over this staying test and is one for the exotics players.
