Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Randwick Kensington, Sandown, Doomben, Oakbank and Pinjarra.

RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 5 @ 4:40 PM

CADETSHIP (1) was ridden forward last start and lacked the turn of foot he showed first up when a distant third to the promising Running By over 1500m on the outer track. Blinkers go on and he drops back to midweek company so at the third run back from a spell he looks perfectly placed to score. Honest mare MISS FABERGE (6) left it till late but just arrived over this distance on Boxing Day, her second win from four runs this prep. Stays on the same weight to tackle to boys today. Cannot be ruled out. VINNIE'S SPIRIT (7) improved sharply last time out at the second run this time in work, leading and battling on well for a close third over today's journey at Warwick Farm. On a seven-day back-up and is sure to give them something to catch. BAT OUT OF HELL (4) returned in good order in a Class 4 at Gosford recently. Placed 2/2 second-up and has a 100% top-three record at this trip so his credentials are strong. SUMO STAR (8) will race on the pace and give plenty of cheek.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Cadetship.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 5 @ 6:00 PM

ANOTHER WIL (3) resumes here and looks well placed. Three runs in his first campaign were good, breaking his maiden at Moe at his second start before trying hard in a 3yo handicap when favourite at Moonee Valley. 1400m looks a good kick off point and with natural improvement he can win. GREAT GUST (5) won narrowly first up before a sound effort over this trip at Cranbourne. Fitter again and will give a bold sight from the inside draw. MAGARTEN (6) ran well first up at Seymour over 1300m and should strip fitter here. May need one more but is in the each-way mix. PRANCING WITH FIRE (10) is knocking on the door with multiple placings and should be thereabouts again. LEGIONNAIRE (2) next best.
SELECTIONS: Another Wil to win.

DOOMBEN: RACE 7 @ 5:10 PM

O'MISS BEHAVING (10) was tracking like an early winner before the plain effort at Eagle Farm as a $2.80 favourite. Was vet cleared and is back after 14 days with the key jockey switch (Orman for the apprentice). May sit handier today and deserves another chance. DEEP CLEAN (13) is also fourth-up and in good hands as well. Improved again at the Sunshine Coast and has a stack of weight relief at this level. Thompson stays aboard and the mare is a chance. TARPS (6) was outgraded in a rich feature at the Gold Coast but impressed prior when placing at Eagle Farm. Has the handy 3kg claim and is also a hope. BANDIT (1) comes into it after scratchings. SELECTIONS: Backing O'miss Behaving.

OAKBANK: RACE 7 @ 5:10 PM

SUGGESTIVE MISS (5) hasn't seen the winner's circle for some time but rarely turns in a poor one. Carries more weight with the drop in grade but goes well over this journey and is a leading chance. ZUFASTA (2) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when second at Morphettville. Good record at this journey and is sure to go well. HAYAI MESU (8) resumes and has run well fresh without winning. Worth noting she missed by a lip when resuming at Benalla last time in work. Rates highly on best figures and can make it a stable debut for Clarken & O'Shea. UTAH JOE (12) comes in on the fresh side and is another that goes well over this journey. Keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Suggestive Miss to win.

PINJARRA: RACE 7 @ 4:10 PM

SNIPPY WHICH (6) rounded up his opponents with ease last start at Bunbury when dropping back in grade. Looks to have found another suitable assignment this time and gets Pike in the saddle from a favourable alley. Just has to repeat his last start figures to be winning again. TORPEDOMAN (8) led all the way to win as favourite over 1116m at Bunbury and is likely to be prominent again with the aid of Campbell's 1.5kg claim. At peak fitness now and can improve again back out to 1200m. Major player. RED REBEL (7) showed plenty of strength when winning over 1300m here on the Scarpside last start. Has the pace to cross from the wide draw and gets a nice drop in weight after Derrick's claim. Should be about the finish. CRYSTALAA (11) makes his WA debut without a public trial. Victorian form stacks up and any market moves must be respected.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Snippy Which.

LAUNCESTON: RACE 8 @ 10:00 PM

WARICA (5) loves racing here with all of his 5 career wins coming on this track. His last start resulted in a third over 800 metres which is well short of his best trip and he will be much sharper with that hitout under his belt. He benefits from a 1.5-kilo claim and can't be ruled out of winning this. GEE GEE QUEEN BEE (4) also has a great record on this track and will find this easier than her last run at Devonport on their polytrack. She is much better placed on the turf and will relish the extra furlong on offer. Hard to beat this time. MUSCLE UP (2) is shaping up as a very exciting prospect and tried hard when finishing runner-up here when resuming 6 weeks ago. He improves quickly with racing and can go one better in this. GEE GEE ENUF SPEED (3) is a consistent mare who battled on well enough to finish third at Hobart last time out and has 3 kilos less to carry this time. She will make the most of the perfect inside draw and should be right in the finish again.
SELECTIONS: Warica to win.
