Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Rosehill, Sandown, Doomben, Gawler, Bunbury, and Launceston.

ROSEHILL: RACE 4 @ 4:05 PM

LIMBURG (2) has been brought north after a couple of nice runs in Victoria to kick off this prep. Led and tried hard but was edged out last time over 1600m at Moonee Valley. Finished two lengths behind Griff in the Stutt last prep so he has the talent to take this out. J Mac opting for this one for the Hawkes stable over a host of Waller runners is a nice leg-up. AUTUMNMATION (7) put the writing on the wall last time out when she closed powerfully to get up for third over 1400m at the Kensington track. Cherry ripe after three runs back and this extra trip suits. ALL TOO ROSEY (19) registered her fourth minor placing this campaign when claimed in the closing stages over the mile at Newcastle recently. Finds a tougher field but at the weights is an each-way hope. SERIOUS BLUE (14) caught the eye late on debut over 1400m at the Kenso. Should improve with the step up in distance. CORMAC T (1) has been well found in early markets on his Australian debut.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Limburg.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 3 @ 11:30 AM

ET TU BRUTE (2) looks the clear horse to beat. He was a strong maiden winner first up before stepping up sharply in grade to contest the G3 Cs Hayes Stakes at Flemington and running quite well, beaten just over 4 lengths by Riff Rocket. Should be winning this. INTO YOU (8) backed up a big run on debut with a smart maiden win at Ballarat over 1400m. Should have no issue with a mile off that effort and can measure up. BORDER VISAGE (4) was outclassed over 2000m at Flemington two back but good at Colac last time and can figure. HARLEY'N'ROSE (5) has been going okay of late with placings in SA and could measure up.
SELECTIONS: Et Tu Brute to win.

DOOMBEN: RACE 2 @ 1:40 PM

DEMARCAY (1) was far from disgraced when midfield in stronger company last time at Eagle Farm and had put together a string of top-four finishes before that. Does his best work at this distance with a win and a placing from three attempts and is nicely placed in this grade. LAWBREAKER (7) has improved her rating with each start this time and has featured in the placings at her last two, beaten 0.7 lengths into third over 1845m at Eagle Farm last start. Race fit now so has strong prospects. KADAVAR (4) was given a short break after winning on debut over 1666m at Ipswich but was kept ticking over with a trial. Maloney goes on and he has upside. Last-start maiden winner RHODES (5) could take the next step.
SELECTIONS: Demarcay is well placed back in grade.

GAWLER: RACE 3 @ 2:52 PM

MAHENO (11) returns. Couldn't get off the mark in his debut prep but did catch the eye in his last two efforts. Takes benefit from a handy trial placing in readiness and is drawn well. Can make a major impact. SOLESUN (13) was denied narrowly of resuming a winner at Murray Bridge three weeks ago. Blinkers going on first time should have focused but he will need a touch of luck from the draw. HISWAY (3) is nearing his first win, backing up a narrow defeat at Balaklava with an eye-catching finish at the latest. Drawn ugly but gets the key booking of Toeroek. Have to consider. DOUBLE YOU OWE (2) was right there to make it a winning debut and didn't lie down, beaten a whisker at Murray Bridge. Sure to have come on with the race experience and has Dom Tourneur sticking. Among the key chances. AFRICARN LAD (1) resumes and is next best.
SELECTIONS: Backing Maheno to return a winner.

BUNBURY: RACE 1 @ 1:45 PM

WICKED VENOM (1) makes his return to the races after contesting Listed company at the end of his debut preparation. His form prior was superb and his recent trial suggests he's on song for his return. Can resume on a winning note in this suitable assignment. IF I DIN HAVADIME (2) appears the main danger having contested Open 3YO company his last few starts. He was 20/1 last start, but the form out of the race has been good and he's nicely weighted after the claim of Martinan. This is easier. SAILORALONG (4) showed enough in his debut at Albany when just finding one better on the day. This is a slight step up, but there doesn't appear to be too much depth in this event. Better for the race experience and won't be far away. SPECIAL STREET (6) has had a few goes now but can be about the finish on his best form. SALVATOR MUNDI (3) can be thereabouts on debut. SELECTIONS: Keen on Wicked Venom.

LAUNCESTON: RACE 2 @ 1:20 PM

Victorian-trained VAN SCOTIA (11) is a leader last seen 13 days ago at Hamilton narrowly beaten at this distance. She has threatened all preparation and is well-placed in Tasmania. The Lindsay Smith stable is firing. MATEUS (1) gives away starts but has missed a whisker at two of his last three starts. Has a handy 2kg claim today and scope for more improvement. OUR INDULGENCE (2) is running out of chances but tries hard and maps for a soft run. Has a 2kg claim and will be thereabouts at a price. LIGHTMEUPJAZZ (12) has been knocking on the door. Has another wide alley to contend with but briefly freshened can get some of the money. MISS TANZANITE (9) also found a place at Hobart. Has an awkward barrier but Newitt sticks and can manage.
SELECTIONS: Backing Van Scotia.
