Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for March 12.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Goulburn and Warrnambool.
GOULBURN: RACE 8 @ 5:30 PM
MISS SCOOP (4) returned good figures on debut when a slick 3 len winner over 1100m at Nowra on February 11. Kept fresh for this and Chambers rides again with the claim. No reason she can't make it two-from-two. STRAIGHT FIRE (5) safely held by Miss Scoop on debut before charging late from near last when a barnstorming winner over 1200m at Wagga on February 25. Rises in weight today and finds a fairly soft Cl1. CHASING A QUID (2) has fitness on his side and will find this easier after disappointing when seventh over 1400m in the Guineas Preview at Canberra on February 27. Gets the right run and don't underestimate. LETME ENTERTAINYOU (3) fitter after two runs back and needs to lift after finishing a plugging fifth over 1000m at Wagga in Cl3 company on February 25. This much easier and not to be underestimated.
SELECTIONS: Miss Scoop to win.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 5 @ 3:30 PM
CROSSOVERKID (6) has been well in the market at the past couple of starts and does boast a metropolitan placing to his name. Where there's smoke there's fire and he can finally get the chocolates here. CRAFTY BOSS (1) is unlucky to still be a maiden with four runner-up finishes at the past four outings. Can go one better against this lot. STAR OF TAVISTOCK (3) strips fitter second-up from the spell and gets the services of Yendall in the irons. Top-three credentials. ROLLING THUNDER (2) draws the inside alley and may earn some minor money. SUFFOLK STAR (4) has placed two of three overall and cannot be ignored.
SELECTIONS: Crossoverkid to shed the maiden tag.
