Of the horses that will step out for trackwork at Werribee tomorrow, five will begin their Melbourne campaigns in feature races at Caulfield on Saturday.

UK-trained Guest Of Honour is the topweight in Saturday's $400,000 David Jones NBCF Toorak Handicap (1600m) while last year's Mackinnon Stakes winner Side Glance will chase his second Australian Group 1 win in the Cathay Pacific Caulfield Stakes (2000m).

German stayer Protectionist headlines the international flavour in the Group 2 Sportingbet Herbert Power Stakes (2400m), which also sees OTI Racing-owned raiders Renew and Lord Van Percy chasing a start in next week's $3 million Crown Golden Ale Caulfield Cup (2400m).

Victorian jockey Craig Newitt will also be at Werribee tomorrow morning to partner his Caulfield Cup mount, UK stayer Seismos, for the first time.

Interview opportunities with Anna Lisa Balding, the wife of Side Glance and Lord Van Percy's UK trainer Andrew Balding, Darren Dance, managing owner of Guest Of Honour, and Andreas Wohler, trainer of Protectionist, will be available following trackwork.

Racing Victoria and the Werribee Racing Club will provide a hot breakfast for media and industry participants in the racecourse grandstand from 7.15am, and will assist media in facilitating interviews and identifying horses galloping.
