Thoroughbred Racing South Australia wishes to advise that the funeral of Caitlin Forrest will be held at Morphettville Racecourse this Thursday, October 23 at 1.30pm.

The much-loved apprentice rider will be remembered with a service in the Morphettville Racecourse Mounting Yard. The main area of the Mounting Yard has been reserved for family, close friends, jockeys and apprentice jockeys.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and are encouraged to wear blue, Caitlin’s favourite colour.

Caitlin’s family have given the media permission to attend the funeral and record or photograph the service.

They have, however, expressed very clearly that they do not want guests attending the funeral to be interviewed under any circumstances, and ask that the family’s wishes be respected.
