To further strengthen the already robust equine drug testing regime applied by HRNSW, during the Carnival of Miracles samples collected with be sent to various overseas laboratories.

HRNSW Integrity unit will be collecting samples both in and out of completion for testing engaged at the Newcastle Mile and Tabcorp Park Menangle meetings. The use of the HRNSW Retention Facility will also be activated for the Carnival.

These measures are to ensure the protection of Stakeholders and the public to ensure that horses are present to race free of prohibited substances.
