NSW

WARWICK FARM February 28

RACE 4: Stable representative B Ryan advised that Peggy Jean had pulled up well with no abnormalities.

RACE 6: Trainer Chris Waller advised that Weary had been sent for a freshen up with the aim to have Weary contest races in the latter part of the Autumn Carnival.

Trainer Chris Waller advised that Boban had been spelled with a view to having the horse compete at the Brisbane Winter Carnival.

WARWICK FARM TRIALS February 27

Stable representative Mark Newnham reported that Zestily was found to have suffered a bleeding attack upon return to its stable following that filly competing in Heat 15. Newnham was advised the filly would incur the mandatory three month ban from racing.

ROSEHILL February 25

RACE 4: Dhahab’s co-trainer Michael Hawkes reported the filly had pulled up well following its disappointing performance.

RACE 7: Stable representative J Clarke reported the High Seas had pulled up well and will be dropped back in class to the provincials. A veterinary examination, including a scope, did not reveal any abnormalities.

Another Al’s stable representative Mark Newnham stated the gelding had pulled up well and will be freshened up.

CANTERBURY February 20

RACE 2: Ooh La La’s trainer Les Bridge undertook to provide a veterinary clearance for the filly, which was found to be lame in the off-hind and was a late withdrawal.

RACE 4: Sinjoren’s trainer John O'Shea advised that the gelding had pulled up well and attributed the performance to the fact that the gelding, which is a free rolling horse, was not suited when the rider slackened the tempo and was crossed at the 900. He advised that the gelding would now be freshened up.

MOONEE VALLEY February 21

RACE 1: Parcel’s trainer Wez Hunter has advised the filly will now be spelled.

SANDOWN February 25

Race 2: Co-trainer Mr Peter Morgan has advised that Typhoon Su has pulled up satisfactorily.

Race 3: Here Comes Theboom’s stable has advised that the colt was found with mucus and a high white cell count and the colt will now be spelled.

Race 7: Hennessy Rock’s stable of co-trainer Mr David Hayes has advised that the filly has pulled up well and will be continuing on with her preparation.

Co-trainers Colin and Cindy Anderson have advised that Demandz has pulled up satisfactorily and they will be continuing on with the mare’s preparation.

Suspicieuse’s trainer Jason Warren confirmed that the mare has pulled up satisfactorily.

Race 8: Trainer Stephen Brown has confirmed that Black Sheep has pulled up well and going forward will continue to race the gelding on wet tracks only.

BALLARAT February 26

RACE 7: The stable of trainer Mick Price advised that Jewel Heist pulled up okay and will be continuing on with the filly’s preparation.

RACE 8: Trainer Neil Pfeiffer advised that Coppola is being sent to spell.

BENDIGO February 27

RACE 7: Don’t Kel Yamemma’s trainer Brendan McCarthy has advised that the gelding will be sent for a spell.

MOONEE VALLEY February 27

RACE 7: The stable of trainer Darren Weir advised that Zanteco has pulled up okay, but they are now sending the gelding to spell.

CAULFIELD February 28

RACE 4: The stable of trainer Mick Price advised that Moonovermanhattan has pulled up satisfactorily and will be continuing on with the colt’s preparation.

RACE 6: The stable of trainer Peter Moody advised that Lidari has pulled up well and will be pressing on with the preparation.

RACE 7: The stable of trainer John O’Shea advised that Earthquake has pulled up well and will be continuing on with the filly’s preparation.

BENALLA March 1

RACE 4: Trainer Peter Donnelly has advised that Al Gerard pulled up very sound and will be sending him to spell.

KYNETON March 3

RACE 7: The stable of trainer Jason Warren advised that Hefner had pulled up with no abnormalities and they will continue with its preparation
