Post race reports from recent meetings.

CANTERBURY – July 8

RACE 2: Echo Queen – Stable foreman P Muscutt reported that the filly will be spelled.

Navua Miss – Stable foreman P Muscutt reported that Navua Miss had pulled up well and the stable will continue on with its preparation.

RACE 7: Defrost My Heart - Stable foreman P Muscutt reported that the gelding was not suited by getting too far back, however, had pulled up well and the stable will continue on with its preparation.

Bubbles 'N' Boats - Stable foreman P Muscutt reported that the mare had pulled up well and the stable will continue on with its preparation.

KEMBLA GRANGE – July 6

RACE 2 – Sweet Jaffa – trainer Nick Olive reported that the mare pulled up well. He added that in his opinion, the track was too firm for the mare and it was his intention to continue with the preparation and to find softer ground.

Any Time Baby – trainer Connie Grieg reported that the mare had pulled up well and it was her intention to give the mare a freshen up and continue with its preparation.

RACE 8: Sunguera – Stewards interviewed trainer David Vandyke and owners' representative B Vassallo relative to the gelding suffering a second cardiac arrhythmia at Kembla Grange on July 6. Sunguera had previously suffered a cardiac arrhythmia at Warwick Farm on December 24, 2014. The results of blood troponin tests conducted on the gelding were presented to Racing NSW Official Senior Veterinarian Dr C Suann.

Mr Vassallo indicated Sunguera was to undergo an echocardiograph and again the results will be provided to Dr Suann. Following Dr Suann's examination of these results, consideration will be given to what further tests may be required in respect to considering whether Sunguera is permitted to continue with a racing campaign.

ROSEHILL - July 4

RACE 1 – Stable representative Liam Prior advised that Labdien pulled up well with no abnormalities. He added that it is the stable's intention to barrier trial the horse before its next race start.

RACE 4 – Stable representative Liam Prior advised that Disgraceful had now been spelled.

RACE 7 – Trainer Allan Denham reported that Mount Nebo had pulled up well and it was his intention to continue on with its preparation.

RACE 8 – Stable representative Mark Newnham advised that Eisenhower had pulled up well, however would now be sent for a short spell.
